Robiraki
炉開き
Robiraki is the ceremony of "opening of the winter hearth", and a term used in Chado, or Japanese tea ceremony. This event takes place in November, which is the first winter month on the tea calendar. Tea specialist change to the ro, or water hearth that lies in the floor rather than above ground. Robiraki is an event to welcome the winter season.
